24 - The New Season 7

JACK BAUER is back in action beginning this Sunday on Fox, and KIEFER SUTHERLAND and the cast of 24 had a few things to say about the new season. The actors tease that Jack may actually be evil, and the big bosses talk about the end of the show: Could day eight be Jack's last adventure?

KIEFER SUTHERLAND refused to say anything of substance, "I'm not going to ruin that the writers of 24 do a good job and I don't want to ruin that for them" While the Sexy ELISHA CUTHBERT said, like her character in 24, she feels older and more mature.


JON VOIGHT said nothing more about his character than he was big and bad. While JEFFREY NORDLING teases us with speculations on whether JACK BAUER is evil or good putting a little mystery into the mix. Does KIEFER SUTHERLANDS' character, JACK BAUER in fact turn to the dark side.

New Addition, CHERRY JONES, who plays the new President, talked about her roll as saying her character is under alot of pressure right from the get go.

CARLOS BERNARD is back as Tony, yes Tony is alive, Carlos off handidly referred to himself as "Bad Tony" in his much darker roll

Producer Jon Cassar talked about KIEFER SUTHERLANDS' JACK BAUER having to deal with FBI and there are more rules. Perhaps that is why Jack oves to the Dark side.



There are ongoing specualtions of a Big screen version of 24, producer Howard Gordon speculated on this by saying a BIG SCREEN VERSION OF 24 probably won't happen until 24 TV SERIES is over but refused to comment on whether this will be the last season of 24

Set in Washington, DC, Day 7 opens with CTU dismantled and Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) on trial. Bauer’s day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) returns. Meanwhile, President Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones) leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff Ethan Kanin (Bob Gunton) and First Gentleman Henry Taylor (Colm Feore).

A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including Agent Janis Gold (Janeane Garofalo), Agent Renee Walker (ANNIE WERSCHING), Agent Larry Moss (Jeffrey Nordling), Agent Sean Hillinger (Rhys Coiro) and security specialist Michael Latham (John Billingsley). Although CTU is no longer, Chloe O’Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub) and Bill Buchanan (James Morrison) are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
